Now we can add thousands of acres of the Rainforest to our legacy.

Together we helped buy/protect 3000 acres of the Sumatra Rainforest with Rainforest Trust and their anonymous donor. This can help save the Sumatran Tiger, Orangutans, Elephants and more. We did it because it was the right thing to do!

We support Rainforest Trust, a nonprofit conservation organization that helps to purchase, protect and safeguard tropical habitat to save endangered species by working with local organizations and communities throughout Latin America, Africa and Asia. You can check them out at www.rainforesttrust.org.”

Since 1988, Rainforest Trust has partnered with communities across the globe to help local, in-country conservation organizations protect over 15 million acres of threatened tropical habitats and rainforests for endangered wildlife in more than 100 project sites across 22 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Rainforest Trust has achieved great successes in critical areas such as Borneo, Sumatra, the Congo and the Amazon rainforests. (From the archives) By the year 2020, they set an ambitious target to save a total of 50 million acres, greatly expanding their efforts through Rainforest Trust’s SAVES Challenge. As part of this initiative to Safeguard Acres Vital to Endangered Species, a generous friend to the organization had offered to match all gifts up to $50 million over the next four years toward land protection for imperiled wildlife. We urgently needed help to make this ambitious goal a reality. The SAVES Challenge is our response to the world’s most pressing threat to biodiversity – habitat loss.
